Benjamin I. Page
Benjamin I. Page is a Gordon S. Fulcher Professor of Decision Making at Northwestern University, holding a PhD from Stanford and a JD from Harvard Law School.
He specializes in American politics, public opinion, democratic policy making, media, and economic inequality.
Best known for his collaborative work with Robert Y. Shapiro on the rationality of collective public opinion, Page has authored 11 books and numerous articles.
His current research focuses on the political attitudes of wealthy Americans and how their preferences often diverge from average citizens while disproportionately influencing policy outcomes.
