Robert M. Sapolsky
Robert Morris Sapolsky, Amerikalı nöroendokrinoloji alanında tanınmış bir araştırmacı ve yazardır.
Halen Stanford Üniversitesi’nde biyoloji, nöroloji ve nörolojik bilimler profesörlükleri yapmaktadır; ayrıca nöroşirürji bölümünde fahri bir görevi bulunmaktadır.
Sapolsky, aynı zamanda Kenya Ulusal Müzeleri’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak da çalışmaktadır.
Stres ve nöronal dejenerasyon üzerine yaptığı kapsamlı çalışmalarla bilinen Sapolsky, Kenya’daki babunlar üzerinde uzun süreli araştırmalar yürütmüştür.
Uzmanlığı nörobilim, primatoloji ve endokrinoloji gibi birçok disiplini kapsar.
