راجر مارتین یکی از متفکران برجسته‌ی حوزه‌ی کسب‌وکار و دانشگاهی است.
او از سال 1377 تا 1392 به عنوان رئیس دانشکده‌ی مدیریت راتمن فعالیت کرده و اکنون مدیر مؤسسه‌ی مارتین پراسپریتی است.
مارتین نویسنده‌ی کتاب‌ها و مقالات متعددی در زمینه‌ی استراتژی کسب‌وکار، تفکر طراحی و مسئولیت‌پذیری شرکتی است.
او به طور منظم در نشریات معتبر مانند هاروارد بیزینس ریویو و فایننشال تایمز مشارکت دارد.
آثار مارتین باعث شده تا او به عنوان یک متفکر تأثیرگذار جهانی در حوزه‌ی کسب‌وکار شناخته شود و در فهرست Thinkers50 رتبه‌ی بالایی کسب کند.
او دارای مدارکی از دانشگاه هاروارد است و سابقه‌ی مشاوره‌ی استراتژی در شرکت مانیتور به مدت 13 سال را دارد.
