کارل مارکس

متولد 1818

اقتصاد فلسفه سیاست

کارل مارکس، فیلسوف و انقلابی آلمانی، در سال 1848 به همراه فریدریش انگلس، بیانیه کمونیست را تألیف کرد.
آثار تأثیرگذار مارکس، از جمله «سرمایه»، بر توسعه تاریخی از طریق نیروهای اقتصادی تمرکز داشت.
او در دانشگاه‌های برلین و ینا تحصیل کرد و در سال 1841 دکترای خود را دریافت نمود.
زندگی مارکس با فعالیت‌های سیاسی، تبعید و تلاش‌های روزنامه‌نگاری همراه بود.
او سال‌های پایانی عمر خود را در لندن گذراند و به نوشتن و سازماندهی ادامه داد.
ایده‌های مارکس تأثیر عمیقی بر علوم اجتماعی و جنبش‌های سیاسی گذاشت، هرچند او به‌طور مشهور بیان کرد: «من مارکسیست نیستم.» آثار او همچنان جنجالی است و منتقدان نظریات او را به چالش می‌کشند، در حالی که تأثیر ماندگار او بر تفکر مدرن را نیز به رسمیت می‌شناسند.
