برایان ال.
وایس روان‌پزشک و نویسنده‌ای است که به خاطر کارهایش در زمینه‌ی درمان بازگشت به زندگی‌های گذشته شناخته می‌شود.
او فارغ‌التحصیل دانشگاه کلمبیا و دانشکده‌ی پزشکی ییل است و به عنوان رئیس افتخاری روان‌پزشکی در مرکز پزشکی مونت ساینای در میامی فعالیت می‌کند.
مسیر حرفه‌ای وایس زمانی به طور غیرمنتظره‌ای تغییر کرد که یکی از بیمارانش در جلسات درمانی شروع به یادآوری تروماهای زندگی‌های گذشته کرد.
او در ابتدا شکاک بود، اما پس از دریافت پیام‌های شخصی از طریق بیمار خود، به اعتبار درمان بازگشت به زندگی‌های گذشته ایمان آورد.
این تجربه او را به سمت ادغام درمان زندگی‌های گذشته در کار خود و نوشتن چندین کتاب در این زمینه سوق داد.
وایس اکنون سمینارها و کارگاه‌هایی در سراسر جهان برگزار می‌کند و به آموزش حرفه‌ای‌ها در تکنیک‌های خود می‌پردازد.
